Apart from camel trekking and a night stay in a deep Sahara desert camp, the 4 Days tour from Marrakech to desert Erg Chebbi dunes and back to Marrakech are highly recommended since there is so much to see and do.
Arriving early at the hotel at the foothills of the Erg Chebbi dunes, enjoying a cup of tea, seeing some nomads living in caves, wandering with a local guide through palmary, or hiking in Dades valley or Todra gorges, spending more time at the places…

After picking you up from your accommodation, we’ll start your 4-day Marrakech Desert Tour to Merzouga with a breathtaking journey via the High Atlas Mountains from Marrakech to the Dades Gorges. Travel via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) to reach the stunning mountainside settlements.
The Kasbah of Taourirt and the renowned film studios are our next stops as we make our way to Ouarzazate over the stony desert. The trip from Skoura, a fascinating town, to Kelaat Magouna, known for its roses, may be enjoyed after lunch as you travel through the Dades Valley via the famed one thousand Kasbahs Road. You may have supper and relax in your room once you get to Boumalne Dades.
Early morning departure for the varied landscape en route to the Merzouga sand dunes. Drive through the palm groves of the Tinghir Oasis and beyond to the Todra Gorges. Limestone cliffs here seem as if they gape through the Todra Massif’s spectacular mountains, before plunging to the riverbed below.
The peaks reach heights of 320 meters above the Todra gorges, which wind their way down from the High Atlas Mountains. Explore the gorges and palm orchards at your own pace. After refueling with a delicious meal, keep traveling to the palm groves of Tinjdad and Erfoud.
Thereafter, we’ll continue on our 4 days tour from Marrakech to the beautiful Merzouga region, where you may ride a camel over the undulating sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. A pause to take in the sunset over the expansive golden sand dunes, which move and change shape like sculptural draperies.
See how their hues shift as the light changes and how they tower like living walls over the desert, the tallest reaching a staggering 150 m.
After a fantastic meal and a music party (Berber drums), spend a lovely night beneath the stars in nomadic tents with locals. Without a doubt, this evening in the desert of Merzouga will be the highlight of your 4 days desert vacation from Marrakech.
Get up early so you can see the beautiful dawn. After getting dressed up and eating breakfast in the camp, you will return to the starting point. Continuing on to Merzouga on day 4 of our 4 days tour from Marrakech. Travel to Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite Dynasty, and the palm grove of Tafilalet.
Visit the Alaouite Sultans’ original capital and then go to the town of Alnif, where we’ll travel the route that goes over the Jbel Saghro Anti-Atlas. Continue to the major Berber settlement of Tazzarine and N’kob, and then drive through the Draa Valley, which is characterized by its rows of imposing palm trees, and take note of the greyish-black mountains of various and interesting forms along the way.
Trip to Ouarzazate through Tizi N’Tniffift in the Anti-Atlas Mountains in the late afternoon. Overnight accommodations in Ouarzazate will be in a Riad or Kasbah.
Leaving Ouarzazate in the morning, we will go to Ait Ben Haddou, the most spectacular Kasbah and best-maintained stronghold in Morocco, and a certified UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Films such as “The Mummy,” “Gladiator,” “7 Days in Tibet,” “Alexander the Great,” and “Babel” have been shot there. We’re leaving Ait Ben Haddou and going towards the Atlas Mountains.
Traveling across the highest road pass in Morocco, Tizi N’Tichka, at an elevation of 2,260 meters, you will be taken to breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding Berber settlements and the High Atlas Mountains. It is recommended that you arrive in the evening.

Morocco’s economy is heavily reliant on tourism to meet its financial needs. To put it another way, the Moroccan government wants tourists to feel comfortable and secure while spending their holiday and money in the country.
As a result, it devotes a significant amount of resources, particularly human resources, to ensure that all tourists are secure while in Morocco; this includes tourist police and highly qualified guides who have been accredited by the government after undergoing training.
In terms of extremism and crime rates, we can state that the occurrence of such crimes is similar to that of many European countries, as evidenced by several statistics: low and uncommon.
You could enjoy traveling on your own once you’ve learned your way around and been acquainted with the local culture. You’ll be OK as long as you’re comfortable with it and stay away from the shady areas.
It will also allow you to save some money. However, some destinations require the assistance of a professional guide; you will most likely realize this once you are in such a location, particularly that outside of towns, such as the desert, where you will need a guide to assist you with camels and other items.
